Salary: £40,000£50,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a new challenge? Our client is looking for a committed and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join their Specialist Mental Health Division in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Occupational Therapist to work with individuals who have experienced trauma and present with complex mental health needs. The role focuses on delivering community-based interventions that promote recovery, independence, and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver trauma-informed, person-centred occupational therapy interventions in community settings
Provide clinical guidance to support staff and contribute to care planning
Assess service users functional needs and develop individualised treatment plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
Promote recovery, independence, and skill-building in daily living
Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain CQC compliance
Requirements: HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a minimum of two years post-qualification experience
Experience supporting individuals with trauma and complex mental health needs
Background in community-based mental health services preferred
Strong understanding of therapeutic models and mental health legislation
Confident in managing caseloads and leading practice within a team
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
Benefits Include: Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 depending on experience
