Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Senior Disposals Officer in Central Bedfordshire
You will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority Planning setting.
Details:
1. Provide expert advice and guidance in connection with all property related contractual matters, including legal, analytical and regulatory issues to colleagues, Members and Senior Officers.
2. Provide the intelligent client role when working with consultants and other external professionals.
3. Support the objectives of the Council’s medium term financial plan by meeting capital receipts targets in accordance with the agreed programme.
4. Develop and maintain relationships across the Council, at the highest level where appropriate, to ensure effective delivery of the Council’s priority projects and its day to day business.
5. Deliver technical reports, working with third party Experts and Consultants as required, across all aspects of the team’s projects
6. You will deliver capital receipts by sale of land and buildings on a freehold or leasehold basis, enhancing value through planning, exploiting market opportunities; in accordance with RICS, CIPFA and constitutional regulations.
