Job Description
I am delighted to working with a market leader on their search for a newly created management accountant. You will be reporting into a high performing Financial Controller.
Day to day duties will include:
\t
* Preparation of monthly management accounts for various groups, ensuring deadlines are met.
\t
* Maintenance of accurate profit and loss reporting to reflect business performance, alongside balance sheets that present a true financial position.
\t
* Production of KPI reports and other management information each month, accompanied by clear narrative and analysis.
\t
* Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with transparent explanation of reconciling items.
\t
* Provision of variance analysis and commentary on financial trends to support management decision‑making.
\t
* Identification and escalation of potential financial and operational risks to senior stakeholders.
\t
* Contribution to budgeting and forecasting processes. working with senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be:
\t
* Part qualified/finalist/newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
\t
* Proven experience producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
\t
* Solid background in budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
\t
* Experience leading or supporting year-end audits
\t
* Advanced Excel skills
\t
* Experience using BI tools (desirable)
\t
* Proven ability to influence at senior level
