Role Title: Assistant Accountant Contract Type: Permanent Full Time Job Summary: To undertake the processes identified below, accurately and in a controlled and timely manner in accordance with internal procedures. To take proactive ownership and gain experience in the development of processes. The Role Work as part of a well-established accounting team responsible for all accounting processes and controls for a number of companies within the construction and related sectors. Nominal ledger account reconciliations Fixed Asset accounting Accounting & control for small subsidiary companies Analysis of sales, stock levels and profit margins Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Prepare draft management accounts with variance analysis Review & development of internal processes The Person : At least 2 years relevant experience of working in an accounts office Accounting Technician or nearing similar qualification. Proficient in Excel and a computerised accounts package, preferably Sage.
