Are you a retail expert passionate about impacting meaningful change? We need a dynamic Assistant Shop Manager to join our friendly charity shop team. This opportunity will enable you to sharpen your retail skills while supporting people in your community, across the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the shop manager to run a profitable, customer-focused shop that serves as the high-street window for the British Red Cross.
* Work on the shop floor and coordinate activities behind the scenes; no two days are the same.
* Foster a brilliant shopping environment and provide an excellent customer experience in store.
* Oversee a team of volunteers, delivering induction, management, and development in collaboration with the shop manager.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Retail experience in a shop environment.
* Strong people skills, enjoys delivering excellent customer service, supporting a team, and engaging with diverse people.
* Commercially aware with an understanding of financial targets and measures; good IT skills.
* Flexible to the needs of the store.
