Position Overview: As a CNC 5 Axis and 3 Axis Milling Programmer Setter Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines, particularly Bridgeports, Mazaks, and DMG machinery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in offline programming techniques and possess a deep understanding of sub-con precision engineering principles. Experience with Heidenhain and Mazatrol controllers is desirable. Responsibilities: ⦁ Develop and optimize CNC programs using offline programming software for 5 Axis and 3 Axis milling machines. ⦁ Set up CNC milling machines, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and programs are in place. ⦁ Operate machines to produce precision components, adhering to strict quality standards. ⦁ Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure smooth operations. ⦁ Conduct thorough inspections of finished products, identifying any defects or deviations. ⦁ Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machining processes and enhance productivity. Requirements: ⦁ Proven experience as a CNC 5 Axis and 3 Axis Milling Programmer Setter Operator in the sub-con precision engineering industry. ⦁ Proficiency in offline programming techniques for CNC milling machines. ⦁ Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CNC machining principles. ⦁ Experience with Bridgeports, Mazaks, and DMG machinery. ⦁ Familiarity with Heidenhain and Mazatrol controllers is desirable. ⦁ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues. ⦁ Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components. ⦁ Effective communication and teamwork skills. ⦁ Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
