Job Description Estimator (Joinery) Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 Start Date: ASAP Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: Romford, RM4 The Opportunity An established and growing joinery business is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, with occasional client interaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates based on architectural drawings and specifications Interpret and analyze plans, elevations, and technical drawings Complete detailed material take-offs Liaise with internal teams and occasionally attend client meetings (including travel to London when required) Maintain clear and organized documentation using standard office software Requirements Minimum 3 years ’ experience as a joinery estimator Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings Strong numerical and analytical skills Confident working independently and within a team Positive, proactive attitude Comfortable in client-facing situations Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location) Package & Benefits Competitive salary ( £45K – £55K) Company pension (after 3 months) Private health insurance (after 12 months) Monthly mobile allowance 20 days annual leave bank holidays Holiday entitlement increases by 1 day per year (up to 25 days)
