Lead, inspire, and drive academic excellence in a specialist SEMH school.
An SEMH school in Stoke is seeking an experienced, confident, and strategic leader to join their Senior Leadership Team as Head of Curriculum & Achievement. This is a key role within the school’s ongoing development and will suit a strong curriculum lead who can raise standards and support staff across KS2–KS3.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead curriculum design, development, and implementation
* Drive whole-school academic progress and achievement
* Line-manage teachers and support quality of teaching & learning
* Analyse data to inform school improvement priorities
* Support a nurturing, consistent approach suited to SEMH learners
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven curriculum leadership experience
* Strong understanding of teaching & learning
* Ability to inspire, challenge, and support staff
* Experience in specialist or SEMH settings is desirable, not essential
* High expectations and a commitment to positive outcomes
