What You’ll Do:
1. Provide exceptional customer support over the phone, building trust and rapport with each caller
2. Clearly explain complex pension topics in a friendly, easy-to-understand manner
3. Help customers feel confident and informed about their retirement options
4. Act as the first point of contact, ensuring each interaction leaves a positive impression
Required Skills:
5. Proven experience in a telephony environment, particularly within a regulated sector
6. Excellent communication and active listening skills
7. Natural desire to assist others with a calm and logical problem-solving approach
Nice to Have Skills:
8. Knowledge of pension schemes or financial services
9. Prior experience working in customer service within a regulated industry
Preferred Education and Experience:
10. Experience in customer service or call center roles
11. Demonstrated ability to handle complex information with clarity and professionalism
Other Requirements:
12. Must reside within a commutable distance of Edinburgh
13. Willingness to work onsite full-time in Edinburgh (EH12)
14. This is a 4- to 5-month initial contract, offering £150 per day (inside IR35, via umbrella)
