Overview

The CT service at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is a progressive and dynamic service offering patients and staff a safe and effective care and work environment. We strive for excellence in all that we do, and we hope that you will be our next key team player on this journey.

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious diagnostic radiographer with excellent communication skills and a strong technical background in CT scanning to join our team of CT Advanced Practitioners. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of specialist CT scanning procedures and protocols. They will contribute to the delivery of staff training and education as well as governance, risk management, service-relevant key performance indicators and staff management processes. The successful candidate will be keen to implement change and embrace the fast paced nature of the industry, demonstrating a high level of resilience and problem solving matched with excellent organisational skills.

Role

To assist the CT Superintendent in maintaining high quality CT services at New Cross Hospital and satellite sites, and to assist in the planning and development of these services. To support the CT Superintendent manage waiting times and meeting departmental KPIs. To deputise for the CT Superintendent as necessary. To maintain and deliver a high-quality CT training programme. To be responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of CT SOP’s and protocols.


Responsibilities

* Support the CT Superintendent in managing waiting times and meeting departmental KPIs.
* Deputise for the CT Superintendent as necessary.
* Maintain and deliver a high-quality CT training programme.
* Be responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of CT SOPs and protocols.
