We are recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a Locality Safeguarding Team based in Beverley, covering the East Riding east area, including:
📍 Withernsea
📍 Hornsea
📍 Hedon
📍 Walkington
📍 Barmston
📍 Easington
📍 Lund
This role sits within the Strengthening and Supporting Families Service, providing long-term support to children, adolescents, and families following assessment by the Children's Assessment Service 💙
🧩 Key Responsibilities
✨ Manage a complex caseload including:
Child Protection
Child in Need
Child Looked After
✨ Undertake long-term social work interventions
✨ Support children, adolescents, and families through to case closure
✨ Work on care planning, permanence planning, and adoption pathways
✨ Complete high-quality assessments, plans, and reports
✨ Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children
