Responsibilities
* Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) on a variety of electrical devices in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
* Record test results accurately and maintain detailed documentation of all inspections performed.
* Identify any faults or safety issues during testing and report findings promptly to the relevant department.
* Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained properly to guarantee accurate results.
* Assist in the development and review of testing procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
* Support the team in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols during testing procedures.
Requirements
* Proven experience or strong interest in quality assurance, electrical safety, or related fields.
* Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret test data accurately.
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple tests efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant certifications or training in PAT testing are desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
* Strong communication skills to document findings clearly and effectively.
