The SEN / SEND Tutor Role
* Providing tailored tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other needs
* Supporting children referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional development
* Delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Responsibilities
* Planning engaging and holistic sessions
* Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or similar needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available to obtain)
* Two professional references
* Based in the UK with right to work, even for online roles
Employment Details
* Engagement as a Worker for short-term placements
* Paid via PAYE, no set hours or expenses covered
* Insurance provided for work undertaken
* Not a self-employed position
