Overview
Team Leader (Roads) - London & South East. The Team Leader will lead a team of circa 35 people locally within our London & South East teams, in addition to part of our Roads GCC team based in India (Bengaluru, Noida and Mumbai). The team is responsible for development and operational performance to meet regional budget targets and deliver projects for public and private sector clients, including National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework schemes and Local Authority Frameworks such as Hampshire County Council, Ealing Borough Council, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) and Cambridgeshire County Council.
Responsibilities

* Maintain an overview of the financial performance for projects within the cost centre.
* Drive operational excellence to achieve budget targets on utilisation.
* Manage and monitor technical delivery to ensure right first time.
* Line manage and develop team members to achieve their goals and aspirations.
* Lead on business development activities to bring in new, sustainable opportunities for WSP.
* Support and work with the Regional Director, London & South East, and their cost centre goals.
* Lead on projects to ensure technical quality and timely delivery.
What we will be looking for
* Experience of managing a Professional Services team relevant to a Roads discipline.
* Chartered Member of the appropriate Institution.
* Experience of operating at management level delivering services into the public and private sector.
