SEN Support Officer About the Role Provide business support to help the Local Authority meet statutory SEND responsibilities. Support the Senior SEN Support Officer with processing EHC needs assessment requests. Input and maintain accurate data on internal systems, including Capita and Excel. Track statutory deadlines and circulate information to key stakeholders. Manage the SEN team's general inbox and handle enquiries professionally. Deliver high-quality administrative support with strong ICT skills. Work collaboratively within the wider business support team. Contribute to improving consistency and processes across the service. Occasional work outside normal hours may be required to support service delivery. Requirements GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4) or equivalent experience. Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to statutory deadlines. Confident communicating with professionals across Education, Health, Social Care and voluntary sectors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general ICT systems. Understanding of SEND and the needs of children and families. Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities. Additional Information Enhanced DBS (Adults and Children's Barred List) required. Role follows a hybrid working pattern.
