Overview
The role is for a Service Engineer (Workshop & Mobile) based in Northampton, with a salary ranging from £33,000 to £40,000 per annum. The position involves 60% electromechanical engineering and 40% office-based work, supporting agricultural and horticultural equipment nationwide and internationally. The Role:
* Perform electromechanical servicing and support
* Handle customer aftersales enquiries
* Travel to customer sites for installation, repair, and maintenance
* Conduct PDI checks and servicing at the depot
* Occasional overnight stays with expenses paid
The Requirements:
* Mechanical and electrical experience in a service environment
* Fault-finding capabilities in mechanical and electrical systems
* Willingness to work both in the field and office
* Experience in agricultural or horticultural industries (advantageous)
* Relevant electrical/mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) (advantageous)
* Willingness to travel nationwide and internationally
* Full UK Drivers Licence
