How you'll make an impact
As an Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting both UK and Group-level financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
* Group Reporting:
o Uploading data from source systems
o Preparing consolidation eliminations and intercompany reconciliations.
o Conducting balance sheet reviews and preparing forecast data.
* UK Reporting:
o Completing full reconciliations of balance sheet accounts within your area of responsibility.
o Coordinating balance sheet reconciliations and managing assigned sections of the balance sheet log.
* Statutory Accounts:
o Drafting financial statements in line with internal timelines.
o Providing responses to auditor queries.
* Internal Controls:
o Addressing internal control actions and providing responses to head office queries.

* Experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
* Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets.
