NHS Tayside has an exciting opening for the position of Head of Digital Strategic Delivery.
This post requires a person who has a proven strategic and operational leadership experience and excellent leadership skills. The role requires a high knowledge of service delivery, application management and support, cyber security and associated policies, directing a range of programmes, leading a highly effective team through the transition to Digital Technologies.
Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Technology, you will support the successful delivery of the Digital Strategy and the Organisation Strategic objectives, with key initiatives which some may include programmes extending outside NHS Tayside in partnership with external agencies such as Scottish Government, National Services Scotland and/or consortiums of other NHS Boards.
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of a range services within, Primary and Secondary Care, Health and Social Care Partnership, Out of Hours Services, Community Services, Prison and Forensic Service. Working closely with the Digital ‘Head of Operations’ the post-holders will have full responsibility for all aspects of Digital Services Delivery.
The post requires a qualified IT Professional, educated to degree level, with appropriate demonstrable skills and knowledge, but appropriately qualified individuals must also have extensive post qualification experience of complex service delivery in order to support the above areas of work.
Exceptional leadership skills combined with a detailed understanding of strategic service delivery in a challenging clinical environment is essential to this role.

Hours of work are: 37 per week
