About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedCNC Sliding Head Setter / Programmerto join a precision engineering manufacturer based in Watford. This role will see you working onCitizen or Star sliding head machines, producing intricate components in small to medium batch runs. Youll be programming, setting and operating to aerospace-level tolerances using a variety of high-specification materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and titanium.
Key Responsibilities
1. Set and program Citizen or Star sliding head lathes for precision batch production.
2. Work confidently from detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
3. Carry out first-off inspections and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
