The Improvement & Transformation Team (ITT) at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual to support the delivery of improvement and transformation priorities for Bedfordshire Hospitals.
We are looking for someone who is excellent at building relationships across a wide range of stakeholders, who will ensure projects have a sound improvement methodology and from this develop clear proposals and deliverable plans.
The post holder will act as a role model for improvement, supporting both a culture and related work programmes that help embed an improvement mind‑set with teams.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the leading of a number of projects associated with transformation and improvement across Bedfordshire Hospitals. The work plan may cover a number of areas where there is opportunity for meaningful, sustainable change, for example Urgent and Emergency Care and/or Elective Care.
Work with a range of stakeholders including leadership teams, clinicians, key support functions, patients and other colleagues (internal and external) to support improvement and transformation programmes and the delivery of high quality, patient centred care.
Provide improvement coaching and support to teams.
Alongside this the Trust is currently implementing numerous initiatives to embed an improvement culture and this post holder will have opportunity to be involved in driving this forward.
Please note the post will involve travel across Bedford and Luton and Dunstable Hospital Sites.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Work closely with the Head of Improvement and Transformation / Deputy Head of Improvement and Transformation to ensure all programmes of work are co‑ordinated effectively and deliver objectives.
Work with in partnership with the Clinical Service Lines to embed an improvement culture, ensuring that sustainable change is embedded in everyday operational business.
To provide expertise and support to the Clinical Service Lines to ensure changes are managed in a planned and smooth manner.
Work across and develop relationships with multiple stakeholders, multi‑disciplinary teams and in conjunction with system partners, including the ICB and Primary Care.
To make effective links and assess the impacts and co‑dependencies of current and emergent issues which may influence the programme / change portfolio.
Advocate and act consistently as a positive role model, actively promoting the Trust's THRIVE values.
