Overview
We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us at our Desford site in the position of Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity, with yearly salary increases, to work towards becoming a fully skilled engineer at one of the UK’s leading building material manufacturers.
Role details
* Working week: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Locations: Desford, Hams Hall, Hoveringham, Kings Dyke, Measham, Milton & Newbury
* Duration: 48 months
* Start date: 1 September 2026
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the efficient and safe working of the plant by utilising the skills taught during your training
* Carrying out preventative maintenance daily and installation of new equipment as required
* Responding to and acting upon the fault report system

Desired qualifications
A minimum of 3 GCSEs, or equivalent, including English and Maths at grades A*-C (9-4).

Fully trained Maintenance Engineer with potential to be supported to complete HNC/D
Things to consider
* Salary will be reviewed throughout apprenticeship
* Shift work may be required on completion of the apprenticeship
* The first year of the apprenticeship includes residential training in Birmingham.
