Job Overview
Permanent contract, 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Employment type: Permanent – Part Time.
Location: Bath, England.
Salary: £30,348 – £40,016 per year (full‑time equivalent).

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high standards of teaching and learning and monitor assessment processes in accordance with awarding body requirements.
* Deliver departmental requirements of core and additional programmes, including personal development curriculum, enrichment activities and tutor support.
* Teach programmes in FE, HE, T Levels and Adult Learning as required by the curriculum demands.
* Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials and other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
* Coordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students’ learning carried out by the course team.
* Communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course team and students.
* Work proactively towards the development of new programmes and the improvement of courses within the curriculum area, enabling growth and protecting quality of provision.
* Champion the success and vision of the department and the College.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry) or Forensic Investigation, or a related subject.
* Teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards a Level 5 teacher qualification.
* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C or above.
* Demonstrated e‑literacy and competence in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams.
* Commitment to fulfilling quality assurance requirements of awarding bodies and the College.
* Evidence of delivering good to outstanding learning experiences.
