Offer description

Responsibilities

* Lead the GCAD in addressing issues and queries related to the reporting of management results.
* Support the RAO Manager in the preparation of the Consolidated Income Statement within tight deadlines, including analysis of results.
* Reconcile financial and management results before monthly close activities.
* Prepare relevant Income Statement notes for Unilever's Annual Report and Accounts (ARA).
* Partner with Investor Relations to ensure statements and press release figures are complete and accurate.
* Perform and document controls for the quarterly close.
* Work with KPMG on Group audit requirements for items such as Income Statement, ARA notes, and quarterly controls.
* Identify accounting and reporting training needs for countries & Operating Centres and support delivery of training.
* Provide a strategic view on process improvement and automation.
* Actively participate in GCAD ongoing and new projects as assigned by the manager.
* Conduct routine and ad‑hoc financial analysis in collaboration with GCAD Leadership Team, GCAD Expertise Team, Country Reporting Teams, Group Management Reporting Team (GMR), R2R Operating Centres, Global Performance Management Team (GPM), Investor Relations and KPMG.


Qualifications

* Exposure to Unilever's Financial & Management Reporting process.
* (Desirable) SCOA understanding.
* (Desirable) Knowledge of Unilever's Accounting Policy Manual and Global Controls Framework.
* (Desirable but can be learned in role) SAP / iFinance knowledge.
* (Desirable) Professional Accounting Qualification (PQ or FQ).
