CMA Recruitment Group is working with a well-established and growing service business based just outside Winchester, Hampshire to recruit a Finance Manager.
This is a broad, hands-on opportunity, suited to an experienced Finance Manager who enjoys being close to the detail while also improving how a finance function operates.
Working as part of a small and collaborative finance team of four, the role will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities, while helping to strengthen controls, streamline processes.
What will the Finance Manager role involve?
Producing and supporting monthly management accounts, budgets and year-end reporting
Providing commercial insight to the wider business, including performance analysis and contract reviews
Reviewing existing finance processes and proactively identifying opportunities to improve systems, controls and reporting
Supporting cashflow forecasting, aged debt management and working capital reporting
Maintaining the fixed asset register and posting asset movements
What will the Finance Manager bring to the role?
Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar hands-on finance role
Strong all-round accounting knowledge, ideally from a multi-entity or service-based environment
Confidence managing both transactional finance and management reporting
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
