The Role
1. To provide patient focused quality service to assure an efficient and timely supply of pharmaceutical products.
2. To undertake dispensing of inpatient and out-patient prescriptions.
3. To receive, check, package and despatch pharmaceutical goods and to assess items returned for re-use

What we'll need you to bring
4. Scottish Vocational Qualification Level II
5. Two years experience as an assistant technical officer/dispenser
6. Ability to work under pressure.
7. Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload
8. Able to work under their own initiative and as part of a team.
9. Commitment to CPD
10. Good verbal and written communication skills
11. Self motivation
12. Good interpersonal skills
13. Demonstrate customer awareness/focus.
14. Flexibility in working weekends and public holidays
15. Willingness to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department.
16. Experience in hospital practice is desirable
