Best Time Limited is currently recruiting for a Plant / Site Operator to join a busy client site located near Basingstoke. This is a hands-on role within an anaerobic digestion (AD) facility, supporting the intake, sorting, and processing of food waste.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, operating machinery, and working as part of a team in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with the intake, sorting, and loading of food waste materials
*
Operate and monitor plant equipment and machinery (training provided)
*
Support routine maintenance and daily site operations
*
Maintain high standards of site cleanliness and hygiene
*
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
*
Participate in a call-out rota and assist with remote AD process monitoring
Requirements
*
Positive attitude towards health & safety and environmental compliance
*
Previous experience in waste management, recycling, or industrial environments is beneficial
*
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
*
Full UK driving licence and own transport required due to site location
*
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rota, including weekends
