The Role

As a Senior Insurance Technician, you will play a meaningful role within our Business Services team, supporting the delivery of high‑quality technical and administrative services for our growing client base. Serving as a trusted contact for London-based teams and internal partners, you will take ownership of complex technical processes. You will ensure data and documentation are accurate and maintain strict compliance standards.

You will also contribute to the development of guidelines and play a key role in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues. This will help strengthen technical capability across the department.

WhatYou’llBe Doing

In this role, you willbe responsible formanaging sophisticated technical tasks and providing reliable support across multiple business units. Your work will directly contribute to service excellence and operational efficiency.


Your responsibilities will include:

1. Handling sophisticated technical administration tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

2. Reviewing,validating, and approving technical data submissions in line with company standards.

3. Preparing and auditing technical reports, statements, and reconciliations.

4. Leading all aspects of data entry, credit control activity, and resolving any outstanding issues.

5. Providingtimelyandaccuratemanagement information to internal partners.

6. Ensuring all records and transactions align withinternal controls and regulatory requirements.

7. Acting as a key escalation point for internal teams, brokers, clients, and external partners.

8. Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues to build broader team capability.

9. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and workflow processes.

WhoWe’reLooking For

We are looking for an experienced technical professional with a strong understanding of insurance operations and the mechanisms involved in the London Market. You will assume responsibility for complex work, demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and maintain exceptionally high standards.

You will bring:

10. Extensive experience in technical administration or accounting within insurance or financial services.

11. Strong knowledge of London Market processes, systems, and technical requirements.

12. Proven ability to review, audit, and quality‑check complex work for accuracy and compliance.

13. Excellent organisational skills and capability for working effectively under pressure.

14. Strong communication skills, capable of building relationships and influencing colleagues at all levels.

15. High attention to detail and a methodical approach to solving problems.

16. Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

17. A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and support less experienced team members.

Qualifications

18. GCSEs (or equivalent) includingMaths and Englishat Grade C or above.

19. A‑Levels (Grade A–C) or equivalent

20. Progression towards professional qualifications is beneficial but notrequired.
