This established practice has seven offices across the UK with a team of nearly 60 professionals working as one integrated unit. Specialists in all areas of architectural design, they have particular expertise in large-scale, complex science & research, education and healthcare projects. With projects spanning the UK, Ireland, and occasionally mainland Europe, the practice offers a dynamic environment where talent and creativity thrive.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Lead architectural design and project coordination through all RIBA work stages
2. Overseeing Junior design team members
3. Oversee planning applications, building regulations submissions, and contract administration
4. Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using Revit
5. Work on concept, schematic, and design development phases
6. Prepare technical drawings, presentations, and reports for clients and regulatory bodies
7. Assist with project specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
8. Conduct site visits and surveys, recording measurements and assessing conditions
9. Help coordinate project timelines and maintain project documentation
10. Attend project meetings and present design solutions to clients
11. Contribute to knowledge sharing and ongoing professional development
Required Skills & Experience
12. RIBA Part 3 qualification and ARB registration
13. Proven experience in UK architectural practice across RIBA stages
14. Strong design and technical drawing skills
15. Proficiency in Revit is essential
16. Knowledge of UK planning, building regulations, and contract administration
17. Excellent communication and presentation skills
18. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
19. Knowledge of construction processes and materials
20. Interest in sustainable design and environmental practices
