About the Role
We are working with a growing refurbishment contractor specialising in pub renovations across London. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join their team, working on fast-paced pub refurbishment projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of various flooring types including:
o Vinyl (sheet & tiles)
o LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile)
o Safety flooring
o Carpet tiles
o Laminate and engineered wood (where required)
* Floor preparation including latex/screeding and subfloor repairs
* Reading and working from drawings and site plans
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
* Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Floor Layer (minimum 3 years preferred)
* Experience working on xsngvjr commercial refurbishment projects (pubs or hospitality experience desirable)
* Strong knowledge of floor preparation techniques
* Own tools and PPE
* Full UK driving licence essential
