We are looking for a flexible individual with the ability to teach across key stages and across subjects. You would experience the full range of the schools offer with onsite teaching, home tuition, supporting with Section 19 and pastoral/wellbeing care. The ideal candidate will: Have experience teaching young people with ASC/ADHD/Anxiety Be experienced with trauma informed approaches/SEND and mental health Be a team player; Have the ability to engage and inspire pupils; Have a flexible and friendly approach; Be committed to Shepwell’s ethos of high expectations for all; Be willing to play a full part in the life of the school ; Manage the flexibility that the role requires; Have excellent communication skills as you will need to liaise with a range of people and partners; Have a positive ethos. ESSENTIAL – the candidate must be able to drive and have business insurance or be prepared to add business insurance to their car insurance policy. All staff are committed to putting the pupils first, ensuring they achieve in all aspects of their learning. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic classroom practitioner with a keen interest in the wellbeing of young people who has experience, excellent organisation and ICT skills. The school provides a continuation of education for pupils who due to a variety of illnesses (including medical health), and possibly ASC/ADHD are unable to attend a mainstream secondary school.
