The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will support the
design and development of mechanical components and systems, contributing across the full product lifecycle from concept through to validation and release.
Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver
high-quality, right-first-time engineering solutionsacross a variety of technically demanding projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies across motorsport and advanced automotive programmes
- Support engineering activities fromclean sheet concept through to end-of-life
- Produce detailed designs forcomplex, highly loaded components
- Apply engineering fundamentals and hand calculations to support design decisions
- Ensure designs consider:
- Material selection
- Manufacturability & assembly
- Heat treatment and surface finish requirements
- GD&T and control of critical features
