Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee operations within our care home environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care. This role requires effective communication and the ability to implement care plans while supervising a team of caregivers.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support care staff in the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with residents and their families.
* Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with care standards and regulations.
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication regarding resident needs.
* Provide training and support to staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
* Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance service delivery.
* Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner, utilising IT systems effectively.
* Drive to various locations as required to oversee operations or attend meetings.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a care home or senior care setting is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and staff.
* Knowledge of care plans and regulatory requirements related to senior care services.
* Proficient IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
