EMEA Security Systems Project Manager
Position at Oracle responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of security construction projects across the EMEA region. Lead a team of security system project managers, coordinate resources, contractors, and stakeholders, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards while maintaining safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
* Reports to EMEA Security Systems Sr. Program Manager.
* Manage security systems projects (new office, office downsize, retrofit, upgrades, decom) in the EMEA region.
* Support Oracle's Global Real Estate Project Managers within the EMEA Region plus Regional Security Director to design & develop security scope of work & bid / tender documents.
* Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management.
* Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
* Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
* Confirm system performance by designing and conducting tests.
* Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements to ensure projects meet the timeline/First Day of Business.
* Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
* Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
* Control project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.
* Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
* Maintain project database by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing and complying with company’s policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Maintain contingency workforce engaged through the supplier.
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Must have strong security background in designing access control & CCTV systems.
* Work in Reading, UK. Must be fluent in English.
* Responsible for writing technical specifications & developing Security Scope of Work & Bid Tender Documents for vendors.
* Travel regionally to attend project coordination meetings with field real estate project managers, regional security director, architects, and general contractors.
* Strong organizational & clear communication skills are absolutely required; self‑motivated requiring little or no direct supervision; demonstrate strong multitasking ability to manage multiple projects across the life cycle from conceptual design through implementation, testing & commissioning.
Qualifications
* Preferred qualifications include 8 years of relevant experience and a BTech/BE degree.
* Clear background check required, plus 5+ Years of Experience Working within the Security Industry.
* Working knowledge of Lenel OnGuard & Software House CCURE Access Control Systems and Milestone & Genetec Video Management Systems (CCTV).
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2020 or higher is desirable; Word Processing & Excel Spreadsheet skills are absolutely required.
* Professional associations such as ASIS membership & CPP Licenses are desirable but not required.
