The privately run Georgian mansion has a history that spans centuries of welcoming regal guests and Hollywood film stars. The venue has grown rapidly over the last five years and has ambitious plans for the next five. We are now looking for a Wedding Sales Manager to join our extraordinary team and drive that growth.

About the Role
The Wedding Sales Manager is responsible for managing a small, highly experienced sales team to deliver the wedding and event annual sales revenue budget. The role requires a keen commercial eye, the ability to analyse sales performance and forecast demand, and the talent to motivate and inspire the team to achieve ambitious revenue goals while delivering an industry‑leading customer experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Team Management
o Create a calm yet ambitious sales culture and clearly articulate and monitor KPIs weekly.
o Monitor achievements, reward success, support development and resolve daily sales queries.
o Conduct 121s, team meetings, appraisals, and manage holiday requests.
* Sales Management
o Use Sonas dashboards to monitor KPIs, review the pipeline and provide commentary to senior leaders.
o Participate in monthly meetings with the Director, Head of Finance and Director of Sales & Marketing.
o Lead pricing strategy meetings, contribute market knowledge and help set competitive prices.
o Oversee Open Houses, event calendars, and ensure customer satisfaction remains high.
o Represent Hedsor at Open Houses, showcases and network events to sell the experience.
o Act as the main contact for the Sonas Customer Success manager for new software developments.
* Strategy
o Work with the Director to develop new products and revenue streams.
o Make budget projections and pricing recommendations.
o Contribute to monthly KPI reports and review competitor offerings and pricing.
* Client Management
o Account manage wedding couples from enquiry through to hand‑over to the Events DM team, ensuring an exceptional experience.
o Support dispute resolution and dispute resolution processes.
* Departmental Working
o Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Events to ensure promises are operationally deliverable.
o Sign off marketing collateral and advise on new collateral needs.
o Review processes and share new policies or documents with the sales team.
* Other
o Maintain strong relationships with preferred suppliers and highlight any issues.
o Cover for the sales team when absent, including running Virtual Tours or Show Rounds.
o Look for opportunities to network and represent the brand at industry events.
About You
Qualifications
* Education in sales, hospitality, tourism or event management – highly desirable.
* Degree level education or equivalent – desirable.
* Maths and English GCSE – essential.
* Sales and customer service training – desirable.
Experience and Knowledge
* Minimum five years experienced in a sales role with proven closed deals.
* Experience managing a sales team.
* Understanding of the wedding industry is desirable; experience in event sales or other luxury services acceptable.
Skills and Abilities
* Lead and coach a high performing team, giving autonomy while holding them accountable.
* Deliver and exceed revenue targets with strong forecasting, conversion rates and pipeline management.
* Commercially astute, balancing volume, margin and long‑term brand value.
* Analyse sales performance data to generate clear actions and priorities.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and disciplined approach to CRM usage.
* Warm and friendly manner building rapport with all stakeholders.
* Persuasive, confident communicator across face‑to‑face, email and phone; excellent spelling and grammar.
* Remain calm under pressure and manage difficult conversations.
* IT proficient, especially Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and CRM systems; training will be provided.

* High level of personal presentation, representing the brand at all times.
* UK driving licence – car usage essential due to estate location.
