This is a role reporting to the Head of Group Reporting and is part of a journey of growth within a technology-driven organization.
Responsibilities
* Production and review of monthly financial reporting packs, including full P&L, detailed balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow statements in line with the Radius Group timetable.
* Lead the group-wide intercompany reconciliation and settlement processes for loans, loan interest and trading balances.
* Ensure intercompany loans comply with relevant agreements and produce accurate interest calculations.
* Support the Group Reporting Manager with the production of the Group consolidation under IFRS through reconciliations and detailed workings to validate the Group financials.
* Take ownership of entities within the Group Holding stack, producing monthly management accounts and providing high-quality commentary and variance analysis.
* Assist with audits, corporate tax returns and statutory submissions.
* Challenge existing reporting and controls, providing proactive assistance and guidance to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
* Support business improvement projects as directed and autonomously.
* Support the growth and capability of trainee accountants within the team, fostering consistent excellence and professional development.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance-related role.
* Studying towards or qualified ACA professional.
* Technical accounting skills with advanced Excel experience (Pivot Tables, V-Lookup).
* Experience in fostering strong working relationships within the finance team and across the organisation.
* Experience using Sage X3 accounting systems and/or financial consolidation systems is desirable.
