We are looking to recruit a Painter & Decorator to join us working on our East End Homes contract, based at The Campus, Welwyn Garden City AL8 6AE.
About the Role
Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll carry out responsive and planned painting and decorating to both occupied and void properties, including glossing, emulsion, papering, and addressing damp and mould issues. You’ll ensure effective preparation techniques, producing perfect finishes to all applications, whilst delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers always come first. Multi-skilled in plastering and tiling would be advantageous. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training provided), working efficiently and safely in line with best practices to achieve excellent customer experience.
About You
Candidates will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification, C&G Craft or Level 2 in relevant trade or equivalent, or be working towards it, and possess a CSCS Card - Blue or be working towards it, with excellent health & safety knowledge.
You should be customer-focused with experience working in both occupied and void properties, with a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time and first time. You must be able to work both as part of a team and independently, and have good knowledge of damp treatments to fulfil this role.
You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months, as a company vehicle will be provided for work use only.
