Join us in an exhilarating role as a Social Worker with the Children with Disabilities Team in Crewe. We are on the lookout for an experienced agency Social Worker to become a significant part of our dynamic team at Cheshire East. You will have the option to choose Macclesfield Town Hall or Delamere House Crewe as your office base as part of this exciting ongoing contract. What you will do
* Assess and manage cases involving children with disabilities, ensuring each family is supported in line with restorative practice models.
* Develop and implement child in need plans, child protection plans, and support care proceedings.
* Engage with families using a family-led planning approach to deliver tailored support and interventions.
* Liaise with other professionals and agencies to provide comprehensive care to the children and families.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent in social work.
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant experience in statutory safeguarding and working with children with disabilities within UK Social Services.
