Key Areas of Responsibility:
Imaging & Grading Duties
* Responsible for parts inventory of breakers, imaging and grading of panels and parts for our sales channels
* Ensure vehicles are brought by an FLT to designated Inventory / Image areas
* Clean vehicle as necessary to ensure high quality images
* Inventory parts on vehicle and image using the PDA inventory matrix
* Grade parts and image using Company guidelines
* Complete any training requirements for the role
* Ensure that a video is taken of the engine starting, running, and showing exhaust to show any infringements
* Remove parts to be cleaned, tagged, imaged, and packed for sending to despatch or warehouse
* Support processing stock inventory based on decisions made on the journey of stock, whether for Parts Sales (breaker), Vehicle Sales (Auction), or ELV (end of life/scrap) to maximize value and return for LKQ SYNETIQ
* Support GDPR & Salvage Personal Belonging Team with GDPR compliance & contractual SLA’s
* Ensure quality control at every step with no damages to vehicles or parts
* Destickering (removing stickers from vehicles) in line with client agreements and compliance
* Perform general yard duties as needed
* Maintain high health & safety standards within the work environment
Yard Duties
* Clean vehicles and remove rubbish to ensure high-quality images
* Dispose of personal effects and documents correctly following GDPR rules
* Maintain and take ownership of general housekeeping within your area to create a safe and efficient environment
Here’s what you bring:
* Full driving license
* Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Ability to accurately record vehicle damage clearly and concisely
* Forklift experience is an advantage but not essential (training provided)
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Basic IT skills
* Experience in a salvage site or interest in motor vehicles is desirable but not essential
