We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident ‌Trust Performing Arts Technician‌‌‌‌ to join our team at the Laurus Trust on a full time basis (37 hours per week). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, whether you're considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people. As a Trust Performing Arts Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the creative and technical aspects of our Performing Arts provision across the Trust. Your responsibilities will include: Set Design & Stage Construction : Assisting with the design and build of sets for shows, workshops, exams, performances, and promotional events. Technical Support: Providing lighting, AV, and technical assistance for events, assemblies, and performances. Curriculum Support: Supporting the delivery of courses and performances within the Performing Arts Departments across Laurus Trust schools. Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below) To deliver high quality support and technical production services for drama, music and other performance activities across Laurus Trust schools Key Skills & Experience Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (AC) or equivalent and minimum 2 A-levels or equivalent. Sound knowledge of stage lighting, sound, video recording/editing, music technology, and AV equipment. A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
