FINTEC recruit is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer for our engineering consultancy client. This is a permanent position based in London. Salary is negotiable by experience £28,000 up to £40,000 plus benefits. An opportunity for a graduate to move into a role to become chartered and gain experience within housing/commercial/industrial build/construction sector.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the senior engineers on civils/structural projects.
* Site visits to verify construction complies with construction drawings
* Producing detailed structural calculations and sketches
* Preparation of construction drawings and specifications
* Commercial awareness of costing, budgets and quotations
* Report writing
Skills and Experience required for the graduate Structural Engineer
* Proficient use of AutoCAD, Masterseries and TEDDS design software
* Understanding of STAAD.Pro, SCIA and Revit
* Project management and leadership skills
* Willing to work towards or nearing Chartered Status
* 1 or 2 years experience desirable, not an essential.
