Home Manager 40 Hours per week / 52 Weeks per year (Also participate in a managers on-call out of hours (on-call allowance paid)) Salary £40,652 - £41,899 (inclusive of a market supplement) Closing date: 21st September 20025 We are looking to appoint a Home Manager to lead and manage a home here at Sunfield Garden School and Children’s Homes. Enabling, inspiring and developing an outstanding home for children and young people in accordance with The Children’s Home (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standard’s for Children’s Homes. On-site resources include a state-of-the-art sensory integration suite and family accommodation, along with resident carers, teachers, psychologists, therapists and healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will support, motivate and inspire colleagues by leading through example. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate: Sound experience of working with children with severe learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder Leadership Qualities and management experience with the ability to coach and mentor staff Experience of working within a senior management role within social care Proven track record of leading a residential provision towards exceptional quality and standards Experience of working within OFSTED inspection requirements and statutory guidelines Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Be able to build credible and trusting relationships with children and young people Hold a Level 5 Diploma and Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Working at Sunfield is incredibly rewarding and in return we offer competitive salaries, with progression in pay once qualified and a private pension scheme.
