Salary: Up to £24,434.00 per year FTE (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.
This is a part time role for 20 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern. The working hours for this role are:
Thursday 17:00 - 21:00
Friday 17:00 - 21:00
Sunday 10:30 - 17:30
Duties of this role include:
* Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
* Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
* Replenish linen and consumables.
* Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
* Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
* Comply with all relevant mandatory training
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Competency in literacy and numeracy
* Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
* Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
