Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Boston, Lincolnshire

Our independent small animal clients in Boston, Lincolnshire are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
This is an independent practice with a large, experienced team of 7 vets. Due to the increase in the growth of the business they are now in need of an additional vet to join them.
The practice has a supportive team of both Vets and Nurses and pride themselves on offering the personal touch and a high standard of care to all patient and clients. As an independent practice they offer clinical freedom to Vets with no set targets in place. Collectively the group have a large amount of experience and therefore would accept application from newly graduated Vets as support is in place.
All vets are happy to share cases with each other and knowledge.They also have their own orthopaedic referral service so for a Vet with a bias in this area would be an advantage.
The role is full or part time with shifts from 8am to 5pm or 10:30am to 7pm, along with 1 in 6 weeknight shifts and 1 in 6 weekends on-call. Nurses are always on back up when working on-call.

The practice are open to full or part time applications from both newly qualified Vets and more experienced Vets.
They will have excellent client skills and communication skills and work well as part of a team.
You will have a keen interest in both surgeries and consulting and have a real passion for providing a high level of care to all patients. It Is also important you have a compassionate and understand nature as well as the ability to provide a high level of customer service.

A reputable, well established, independent veterinary practice in Boston, Lincolnshire. The practice offers all small animal services and a well equipped with a full in-house laboratory, digital x-ray facilities, ECG, Ultrasound and also offer pet orthopaedic referrals.
Package:
12. Salary: £35, to £55, pro rata, commensurate to experience
13. Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
14. CPD: Generous allowance with 5 days to attend
15. Memberships: RCVS, VDS and BSAVA fees paid
16. Certificates funded for right person
17. 10 days sick pay at full pay per annum and unused days carried over to the next year - max 30 days per annum
18. Mileage 45p per mile tax free
19. 5% of annual salary contribution to pension
