CUSTOMER OPERATIONS ADVISOR
Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Customer Operations Advisor to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in Burton-On-Trent.
ROLE: Customer Operations Advisor
PAY RATE: 13.06 p/h, circa 27,100 per annum
JOB TYPE: 3 months contract - sick cover that can go longer
LOCATION: Tutbury, Burton-On-Trent (DE13)
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm, 1-hour unpaid lunch
THE ROLE:
1. Stock management and ordering.
2. Expediting and maintaining order books - check upcoming orders, chase delivery times.
3. Ordering stock based on customer requirements.
4. Raising purchase orders (POs) on customers' behalf.
5. Maintain accurate records of transactions and stock movements.
6. Contacting suppliers - replenishing stock by placing orders to purchase.
7. Adhering to H&S policies and procedures on site.
8. Resolving purchasing and supplier invoice queries.
9. Housekeeping stores and office area, maintaining 5S principles.
10. Booking goods in/out, issuing to customers, and updating internal systems.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
1. Attention to detail.
2. Basic IT literacy skills - professional email correspondence and use of MS Office for data entry.
3. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with customers on site.
4. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
5. Stores/Warehouse experience advantageous.
6. Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain principles desirable.
7. Able to show initiative and be proactive in training provided to apply to the role.
