PE Teacher – Secondary – September 2025 – Northampton
Are you a dynamic and energetic PE Teacher with a passion for promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among young people? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic PE teachers for a variety of secondary school roles across Northampton starting in September 2025.
We are working with a range of local schools to fill both long-term roles with full departmental responsibilities and short-term PE cover positions. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and newly qualified teachers looking to build confidence in diverse school environments.
In long-term roles, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5), managing extracurricular sports clubs, preparing students for practical exams, and working closely with other staff to promote physical wellbeing. Short-term cover roles are perfect for those who prefer flexibility or are building experience, focusing on supervising practical lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
