Are you an experienced social worker with Kinship experience?Do you have a passion for providing first class support to Children's Services?An exciting opportunity has become available for a Locum Social Worker to join a Kinship Team in the Wythenshawe, Manchester area. You will be based with the Fostering Service, completing kinship assessment for the fostering panel, courts and offer support to kinship foster carers.Benefits:

* 1 week in three covering duty, need to be office based

Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments of kinship caregivers, children and their immediate environment
* Court Assessment Work
* Case Management, implement case plans for kinship families
* Provide support to the kinship caregivers and the children
* Be an advocate for the children and kinship families
* Link Kinship caregivers and the children with resources such as education, health care, legal support and financial assistance
To be considered for the Social Worker role:
* 1-3 years experience of working within a similar social work setting
* Experience of assessing kinship caregivers and implementing case plans
* Diploma/Degree in Social Work
* SWE registration
