Hays Social Care are looking for Support Workers in Belfast. Your new company Hays Social Care is working with one of Northern Ireland’s leading homeless charities, who help put the most vulnerable people in our society back on their feet. The service aims to prevent homelessness by providing housing related support which helps people maintain their own accommodation and live independently and inclusively in the community. Your new role An opportunity for individuals who are committed, enthusiastic and self-motivated to join an energetic team. You will have experience of working with marginalised people with a range of support needs, risks and have a strong understanding of housing related support. You will ensure all housing related support needs are met, which include but are limited to; providing practical support to make clients\' homes habitable, advising clients on benefit entitlements, working with clients to draft and implement realistic support plans and risk assessments. What you will need to succeed. To succeed in this position, you will need to have personal or work experience of providing support for someone, good organisational and record-keeping skills, be an excellent communicator with resilience to adapt.
