Conveyancing Assistant - Colchester
GWR Legal Recruitment are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Colchester, who are looking for an additional Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy residential property team.
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will provide essential support to fee earners handling a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
Duties may include such things as:-
* Assisting with the management of conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
* Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Conducting property searches and submitting Land Registry applications
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to keep them updated on transactions or clarify points.
* Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures
