Overview
Head of Property Services – Manchester, £65,000 – Full-time role (35 hours per week). You will lead all maintenance and asset management services with a strategic focus on value for money, customer needs and the environmental sustainability agenda. Working with the wider team, you will set strategic goals for the service to ensure priorities align with organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage maintenance and asset management services with a focus on value for money and sustainability.
* Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximise long-term value and profitability.
* Prepare and manage annual budgets for stock condition, investment programmes and acquisitions.
* Conduct portfolio performance analysis and recommend acquisition, disposal, or repositioning strategies.
* Deliver asset management plans for buildings and service improvements; lead contractors and external partners as required.
* Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements, including HHSRS assessments during surveys.
* Travel to site locations as needed to support operational delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in property/housing with a track record of senior leadership and delivering strong performance.
* Relevant construction-related professional qualification (RICS or CIOB) or equivalent significant experience in a similar role.
* Experience undertaking stock condition surveys and managing related regulatory requirements.
* Strong commercial/financial track record and ability to lead contractors effectively.
* Demonstrated commitment to improving customer outcomes and environmental matters.
