You will play a key role in supporting both pupils and teaching staff, with the confidence to lead whole-class sessions independently when required. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to individuals and small groups of 4-5 learners Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the class teacher Assess, record and report on pupil progress, achievement and development Deliver targeted interventions to support pupils with SEND and vulnerable students Supervise and mentor junior teaching assistants and support staff Assist with lesson planning and adapt learning activities to meet diverse needsIdeal Candidate Profile: Someone who holds HLTA status or has significant experience working at HLTA level. You will have excellent communication skills, strong behaviour management strategies and the confidence to take initiative in a busy school environment.
